Knowing that Simplify resides at the Tether now, the first image that came to mind was seeing this furre on the beach, the night fog parting to catch that glimpse of her, as she looks over her shoulder at you then starts to walk slowly away. As quickly as the fog revealed her, it hides her again. Heedles of your dignity, you sprint forward, but, she is gone.. or was she ever there?
Hmmm, I must say I enjoy the picture. I like how the character isn't in the center of the picture, almost seeming to give off an essence of being alone. This is also added to by the hair covering her eyes, those often telling much about how they're feeling.
ACTUALLY... I randomly made the portrait one day because I just.. got that idea. And then decided I needed an alt to use it with so I can show off. (I'm so vain) So I re-created my old alt Eronel, whose name is Lenore backwards ... and then I drew this picture. Whee!
Hey nothing wrong with drawing furc chars! Really love how you did the shading here....Must try this painter thing then beg for tips....Do you shade on different layers? Or on the same layer as colour....are there layers in painter classic? ...I should install and see first...
Painter Classic has the wet layer and dry layer that function weirdly. I'm usd to it and it works for me, but the lack of actualy -layers- bugs me a bit. I have Painter 8 and never use it, and with actual layers in it I wonder what the point of designating wet/dry layers are? 8 is overly complicated. I just use Classic.. It gets me where I wanna go.
Essentially. And only watercolor tools work on the wet layer. And only regular tools on the dry. To erase ont he wet layer you have to use the 'wet eraser'... it's complicated. but there's an option to "dry" the canvas and make the wet layer into dry layer.
